Kerri and Eoin, St Mary's Church and The Workstation - Aquatic Plants and The Great Barrier Reef

Hi all,

So when I think of this wedding all I can hear in my head is Sebastian the crab from The Little Mermaid singing 'Under the sea!'.  No, I am not going absolutely crazy, I will explain.  Kerri and Eoin who got married at St Matthews Church with the reception at The Workstation, are divers and asked that their flowers reflect their passion.  Kerri wanted her bouquet to look like underwater plants, such as sea anemones and corals which they had seen whilst diving the Great Barrier Reef.  I was so excited when I saw the brief that T was given and as always she didn't disappoint with the design.

For the general feel of the bouquet Kerri wanted a loose 'just picked' look.  Flower wise T did a brilliant job at achieving the underwater look that the couple wanted.  The flowers chosen were open pink wax flower, blue delphinium, craspedia, blue thistles, solidago, scabious seed pods, eucalyptus and green bell.

For the bridesmaids Kerri and Eoin chose to have smaller versions of the brides bouquet.  The buttonholes were a simple sprig design too, to tie in with the generally relaxed look and feel.

So here are the gorgeous pictures, enjoy people!
